Description & Usage historiqueDescription & Historical Use
Developed by Arne Brennan and Bill Alexander (Alexander Arms) from a 6.5 PPC wildcat built on an AR-15, on the .220 Russian case shared by the PPC family. It was meant to put heavier 6.5 mm bullets than the 5.56×45's into the M16/AR-15 platform, with a dedicated upper receiver or barrel and bolt and a new magazine.
